Rain City Open Sumo Tournament

The Rain City Open sumo tournament returned in 2026 with a greater vision for the event, with more Japanese tradition, more excitement and a grander scale.

This year’s tournament was held in the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall on Saturday, April 11, 2026. The tournament began promptly at 11:00 with an opening ceremony and performance by the Ryushin Creative Dance Group from Okinawa.
